Card Giveaway at SABR53 this week!
I’ll be attending the Society for American Baseball Research (SABR) conference in Dallas this week and, like last year, created a series of three of my favorite cards to hand out to anyone who asks – a different one each day.
THURSDAY will be Plainville Ponies slugger FROSTY KENNEDY.
FRIDAY is Texas’ own Negro League catcher/shortstop BIZ MACKEY.
SATURDAY belongs to LEONARDO ALANIS, aka LEO NAJO who came oh, so close to becoming the first Mexican-born player in the Majors.
I hope to see some of you there to meet in person and talk about baseball history!
