EBBETS FIELD FLANNELS

For thirty years, Ebbets Field Flannels has been keeping baseball nostalgia alive with their meticulous recreations of historic baseball jerseys. When they branched out into vintage inspired t-shirts, I was commissioned to design the bulk of their product line.

These shirt designs are among my favorite because they allow me to create fun and colorful pieces of art that are faithful to the time periods they depict. There is no existing logo or ephemera from the 1910 Redondo Beach Wharf Rats, but if something was to resurface, I imagine it would look very similar to what I designed. From the turn-of-the-century style of the Pautucket Clam Eaters to the 1960’s nuclear style of the Tri-City Atoms, these shirts have become a wardrobe requirement for the discerning baseball history fan.
