CINCINNATI REDS HALL OF FAME

This assignment was one of my most challenging. Although the Cincinnati Reds Hall of Fame is located inside the team’s ballpark and displays their official collection of memorabilia, due to licensing issues the museum can not use any of the team’s logos or images associated with it. My job was to create a brandmark that the museum can use and does not step on any legal toes. So, to play homage to the Reds place as the oldest professional baseball team, I designed a historic-looking mark using interlocking characters and baseball motifs. Unmistakably Cincinnati Reds baseball, but completely original.
